January 8th, 2012: New Year's Brunch at the Westford Regency, Westford, MA. Guest speaker: Heidi Reed, Commissioner, Mass Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH).
February 25th: Empowerment and Advocacy afternoon. Cary Library, Lexington, MA. Panel discussion followed by Q&A. Bring your favorite chocolate dessert; we'll bring the drinks. CART will be provided.
April 14th: Save the Date! Dr. Steven Rauch will be speaking at the Watertown Public Library.

ALDA BOSTON 2011 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
January 9th, 2011: New Year's Brunch at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, MA. Guest speaker: Geoff Plant, President, Hearing Rehabilitation Foundation.

March 19th: "An Irish Listening, A Celebration of St. Patrick's Day" with Irish harpist Aine Minogue at the Hearing Rehabilitation Foundation in Somerville, MA.

April 16th: Annual Business Meeting at the Lexington library. Guest speaker Jonathan O'Dell talked about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how it applies to those with hearing loss.
July 3rd (rain date of July 4th): Celebration of ALDA Boston's 22nd Birthday at the home of Connie and Charlie Barnes, Medfield, MA.
Saturday, October 29th: Dr. David Vernick, M.D., Otolaryngologist, spoke on "Hearing Loss Research, Biology and Technology" at Cary Library, Lexington, MA.
Sunday, December 4th: Holiday Party at the home of Linda/Louis Sakin, 1 Ford Lane, Framingham, MA 01701.

APRIL 17th: Annual Business Meeting and Dessert Party, Lexington Public Library 1:30 - 4:30
MAY 16th: 21st Birthday brunch honoring past presidents of ALDA Boston at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, MA.
JULY 4th: Barbecue at the home of Connie and Charlie Barnes, Medfield, MA.
OCTOBER 24th: Dr. David Citron, Director of the South Shore Hearing Center. Cary Library, Lexington, MA.

DECEMBER 16th: Larry Goldberg, Director of Media Access at WGBH, The Impact of the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act. Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary. Co-hosted with Hear@Boston

MARCH 14th: The legislative process,. Speaker Sean Fitzgerald, chief of staff for Representative Jay Kaufman, explains how the legislative process works and how citizens can influence the passage of legislation. Cary Library, Lexington, MA.
APRIL 25th: Annual Business Meeting and Election Results. Speaker: Jonathan O’Dell., Assistive Technology Manager/Training Specialist. Watertown Public Library, Watertown, MA
MAY 17th: ALDA Boston celebrates its 20th Birthday. Guest of Honor,: Commissioner Heidi Reed. Silent Auction. Courtyard by Marriott, Marlboro, MA
JULY 18th: Tour of at the Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham followed by an ice cream social at Lizzy's. Waltham, MA
